When I tried to install that on my desktop, it didn't work and someone replied to this post saying that it wouldn't work. Can you explain to me then exactly what I want to put in a "download" folder so I can burn a CD. And then will this work to install on another computer. It has nothing to do with its being in a folder. Programs have to be installed. Installing it makes registry entries and links shared files to the place where it is installed. How you back up a program is to write whatever you installed it from to CD.

If you installed it from a CD you copy the CD. If you installed it from a file you downloaded you copy the file you downloaded to CD. You can use those to install it again. Say you ever get one of the Sony CD Extreme links to work.

How you back it up is to copy what you downloaded to CD. You can open the Download folder and install either of them on your computer. You can write the Download folder to a CD and open the Download folder and install either of the programs from the CD. There is no problem copying a folder containing files to a CD. There is no problem copying folders that contain folders that contain folders full of files.

All of the links work for me just fine. How you get a download folder is to open Windows Explorer. You can also put a download folder on your desktop if you prefer. It worked!!!
