So far, these are the steps I have taken. Dongle is plugged in to office desktop machine. RDC from laptop to office works perfectly, so I know there is a live connection between the two machines. I have opened the port in the firewall on both machines. I then type in the username of the office desktop computer in the "Online Authorisation Settings" dialog and then I type in the user password.
On the laptop I then try to run the Vray license server but all I get is this message "vrlservice. Starting it up doesnt make any difference.
Can someone provide a step by step how i'm supposed to set this thing up t? Sketchup Tags: None. Dont you need the ip address, not the computer name. Comment Post Cancel. Solution: None. The network license manager has failed, due to either the license server not running on the network, or a missing or faulty software key. Please inform your network administrator immediately. The network license manager cannot be contacted, and your 7 days are now expired. All of the available licenses are currently in use.
Message 1 of 3. I had to reinstal max and it works fine now, but now when I installed my vray plugin, I get this annoying error message box that pops up even before the computer even finishes to boot up. It reads: Top Header vrlservice. I cant cancel, I cant retry, i cant X out How can I fix this problem???????
Someone please help. Message 2 of 3. Message 3 of 3. That errors means that, for one reason or another, vRay can't find the hardware lock.
