However, this is so very cheaply made, smaller than I thought, and arrived damaged. I'm fairly certain if I tried, I could have opened it despite it being locked.

Except I received no hardware. Was it supposed to come fully assembled with hardware in place? There was nothing else in my box or drawers. I requested a replacement but I would have preferred the vendor just send me the missing parts!
